My youngest is such a handful. Keeps me on my toes on a daily basis. What I caught him entertaining himself doing. To die, I thought he was going to kill himself. Turns out he has it timed out perfectly.

These boys make me melt
Every day Omi comes up with the funniest and cutest things. I wish I could document every moment. It seems like he is growing up so fast. I feel like I am going to blink and he will be graduating high school. So I try to soak it all in now. We are a very affectionate bunch, constant I Love Yous fly around our home. Omi will randomly stop what he is doing and come over and tell me he loves me and plant a big ol’ kiss on me. So the other day I decided I would ask my little three year old what I love you meant. I was actually amazed at his answer. I think that for his age and given his limits to language and concepts, he really hit the nail on the head.
And here you will see my lovely darling of a son waking up his older brother. Another moment more than worth documenting. Isn’t my youngest son a darling?

Just recently Omi has developed an obsession with my camera. He grabs it every chance he has and just start snapping away. He is such a little shutter bug, not picky at choosing a subject either. Here are some of the most delightful random things he has captured. My favorites are the nostril shots--
Are you still there? Sorry I kept you waiting so long.
Alas, I have returned. I know I know, I can only imagine all the ugly face crying you all have done due to my absence. Breath in...breath out- I have returned! I would like to excuse myself by explaining that I do have a doctor’s note caliber excuse, ok so I don’t. No recent trips, or other fantabulousness which would more than explain it, but I got nothing. So lets just chalk it up to being a mother of two toddlers who has been busy painting safari animals (pictures to explain that later).
So while I was gone I actually had the pleasure to do work on two big cake projects. I had a lovely wedding cake, which I got to bake a new flavor (Patagonian Black Welsh Cake aka torta negra). I had zero love for this cake, it was a about a 3 day process to prepare and bake and I personally did not even like how it tasted. But those who are a fan of the infamous American Holiday fruit cake seemed to like it. I also had an order for the anniversary of a local seafood company. I really had fun with this one, it was a Hawaiian themed event which I made hibiscus flowers in all sorts of colors to decorate the tiers along with an occasional lobster, crab or fish. Both cakes I am really proud of (in case you couldn’t tell).
We got to take the boys to the pumpkin patch where they wandered around all the pumpkins. As always Omi was amazed by the little pumpkins. When I asked him to pick a BIG pumpkin his reply? "I can’t Mama, those are too heavy I can’t pick those up. I want a baby pumpkin." So after picking and poking and (Aiden) bit a few we chose our pumpkins. Omi with his baby and I with my "heavy" pumpkin.
With his baby pumpkin I purchased some little stickers they had at the pumpkin patch which gave Omi the chance to make his own Jack’O Lantern. Aiden would have made one too, but was not having a "good day" and opted to throw his tiny pumpkin and proceeded to hide in between the couch and recliner.
When it was time to help Omar with the carving of the big pumpkin, Aiden decided he was too hungry to participate and Omi was not enjoying the gooeyness of it all. He didn’t care for how the inside of the pumpkin felt and was confused about the seeds. So he optioned to play with his super hero squad figures and leave Papa to tend to the pumpkin.
And for those of you who are terribly concerned with what I have been keeping myself busy with. Do not fear, I have been keeping myself busy. Just recently I finished Omi’s Halloween costume boots. He is going to be Iron Man and could not be more ecstatic about it. The picture really does not do them justice, they look pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
And these are my lovely safari animals. For my 30th I am throwing myself a carnival themed party. And decided to use these animals to decorate here and there. I will not say precisely how and where --- do not want to ruin the outcome. But yes that is a necklace on the giraffe.
The other projects in the making are for my grandparent’s birthday. Those I will show you once they are complete.
And last but not least, when I climbed into bed I felt the most uncomfortable nudge. Only to discover Batman was taking a nap under the covers.
I am working on uploading some beyond adorable video clips of the boys. You will melt at the sight-
