This past week, Omar and I had the most amazing concert experiences. We got to see JayZ and Kanye on the Watch the Throne tour. For those of you not aware, O and I are HUGE Jeezy and Weezy fans. All albums, know the lyrics, you know pretty extreme hip hop heads when it comes to certain artists. It has been forever ago since the last time Jay came in concert (I was pregnant with Omi last time he came in concert). So...with that said there is an interesting story behind our concert tickets. When the presale was going to start it had ZERO dates in Florida. Imagine how devastated we were, those two MC all stars headlining a concert and not coming to Florida!! What the what!!! The closes concert was going to be in Atlanta, so of course we were actually going to fly out watch the concert and than fly back the next day. Luckily when I logged on to purchase the tickets they had added Sunrise as one of the venues. Without thinking twice we bought tickets, great tickets I might add. Only to discover a couples later that Miami was added to the venues. Since I had purchased tickets to Sunrise I was happier than a pig in mud, And than it happened- my fabulous husband who is so AWESOME got us tickets to the Miami show!!! Fabulous back to back evenings... loved both nights!

The Sunrise concert was awesome. We actually sat in a really good section. Every one was just as hyped as we were, dancing and singing and throwing up those diamonds. It was such a good vibe. The performances did not disappoint. To the point where I decided early in the evening that I would be wearing flats to tomorrow’s concert. I could not resist and there is a good chance that the video (and sound quality stink) but I thought I would share regardless. My favorite performance was "On to the Next One" it was so0o0o0o tight. OMG- LOVED it!!!
This was me before the 2nd concert looking a little too excited!
An than there was Mia. It was nuts how many celebrities there were at this concert. As to be expected, Miamians are little too cool for the hype that we experienced in Sunrise. The crowd did sing along but not as much I however decided to not be THAT Miamian and danced my heart out! Thanked goodness I wore boots and my feet were not too sore. I also recorded clips here. More so because I knew what to expect so I was able to get the parts I thought would be good. One of my favorite was Empire State of Mind when he gave the shout out to D.Wade and Lebron James- the place went nuts. Also went loony when they sang Whatcha Need, at the mention of Prevae and the dream team--- it was insane. They ended the evening with FIVE encore performances of Ni**as In Paris. OMG--- it was amazing. So looking forward to next concert, hopefully I will not have to wait another 4 years!
