New Years was nothing all to spectacular, but special just the same. We spent it at Omar’s parent’s house with the family. Boys were loving life with the bounce house that Santa brought them on Christmas and that kept them busy most of the evening. It was a low key celebration, but perfect none the less.
2011 you were especially kind to us. Although we did have losses in the family and extended family (close friends) we know to be thankful for our health and all the blessings you brought us. The new babies filled with life this year (Lia and Andrew) were both especially anticipated arrivals. Thank you for all that you gave us, 2011.
May 2012 be just as kind. And may we only look at the good things instead of dwelling on the tragic first couple of days it has brought us.
Please Lord, grant my family and the family of those lost so early in 2012 strength. The tests you place in front of us are so difficult at times. I personally do not understand them, but I trust and have faith. Our mortality is a reality and I am thankful for my faith which allows me to feel comfort when those times of reality hit.
I hate to put a damper on the New Year’s post, but it just came out and was what I was feeling. Please excuse the Debbie Downer moment...
I really do want to wish every one a prosperous and magnificent 2012. Many blessings and a lot of love to you and your loved ones.
